What Happened to the Enclosure Thread?

I just posted a reply to Weasel in the Enclosure thread, and the thread has disappeared!

How odd, I just took two more snapshots, and when I'm logged out I get this (you can see your latest post in this one, as well as the Enclosure thread on the same screen):

But as shown above, if I log back in, the Enclosure thread has gone again while your latest post can still be seen. I wonder what is causing it, any ideas?

what happens if you switch to the latest section? do you see it then? i have no idea what would cause this. probably axoman is just too much for the forum!!

Nonsense my dear lokki, every forum should have a lovable axoman-type character like myself! It's what keeps the more serious and technical-types among you sane! And anyway, I reckon it might be Mark having some behind the scenes fun with my forum settings cause Gavin suspects I might be crazy!

Maybe Mark is trying to convince me that I really am crazy, and you know what's even crazier? That Crazy-Face smiley I like to use has disappeared as well!! I mean it has literally completely disappeared from the smiley list

If I click on the axoman avatar, and from there, click on the axoman name, I get to see a list of activity. And sure enough, the post I made in the Enclosure thread is listed among my actvity and if I click on it, I am taken to the Enclosure thread.

So it's still there, sort of, but I cannot access it through normal means, which in turn probably means that the forum database is messed-up. In addition, no matter what I try, the Crazy-Face smiley I last used this morning, has disappeared from the smiley window (it is normally on page two of the smiley window).

Just an update to point out that even after getting a reply from Weasel, and me in turn replying to his reply, the problem persists

This forum software is weird. Behaves differently on my Mac, iPhone, iPad. Of course, they have 3 very different screen sizes.

But, generally, I can find things that are trying to hide, by clicking the New, or Latest, or Category buttons. I’ve definitely sometimes had trouble finding something I know I’ve read.

Oh it definitely messes-up a lot. Sometimes when I visit the forum, almost all the avatars are missing!

BTW, here's a screenshot of page two of my smiley window. Could you upload a screenshot of yours? The reason I ask is because my most favourite smiley has gone missing; this one

I had to type it in manually just now to get it to show, but that smiley is normally on the top row of page two, so someone has stole my most favourite smiley!

I think smileys on a phone or tablet come from the device's keyboard app, but on a computer they come from the website.

Unless I'm mistaken.

Duh, nevermind, I just found it! I was accessing it through the second tab thinking it did the same thing as clicking those arrows at the bottom!

If I'm on tab one at the top, and then use the arrows at the bottom, the smiley is there, so smiley emergency over. That thread is still missing though. I'll just have to hope it irons itself out whatever it is!

Damn weird behaviour, that is!

Just a wild guess: Have you accidentally muted the topic? That makes it disappear from the Latest screen. You can check it at the end of the topic.

I just removed the mute and I can see the thread again now, cheers!
