@keyman, yeah the now that we have patch banks, its alot easier (I find) to have a standalone axo (I use my axo control one) with a bunch of patches ready to go... either as a instrument (mpe!), or FX... been think about midi processing for a while, but had not decided on a 'control interface' which is the tricky bit for standalone - but the Goliath video gave me some ideas
@lokki oh, I think theres definitely a point, not everyone wants a bare board, or to start soldering then coding/patching - this thing has a bunch of switches runs of a battery, and no doubt 'saves state'.
so sure, for us Axolites , its pretty limited but for many it ticks some boxes, and 'just works'
( I will say I think multiple midi outputs, and usb midi, would have made this much more interesting... but i guess people use midi splitters etc)
Im not going to get one (obviously!?) but Id like to see some more videos, it has 3 buttons, so obviously there are some more modes, it would be interesting to see how these work, again for inspiration purposes...
though, Ive pretty much worked out what my interface will be now
