Is there a way to change the "poly" count of a polyphonic subpatch while the patch is running?
I realize it behaves like an attribute, rather than a parameter, my question is if there is any way around that.
Background: I am building a polyphonic patch in which swarm oscillators can be added/muted (using sss's supertrisaw oscillator). If i have none, or few, swarm voices, the overal cpu load is less, so i could get a higher polyphony. It would be cool to program this to adjust automatically, so that if i up the number of voices in the swarm, polyphony reduces, and vice versa.
