I tried SSS's sel/4chanceSeq object and it wouldn't work when selecting consecutive squares.
I made my own subpatch with factory objects and it has the same problem.
Any ideas why this is the case?

you need a logic/change object on the counter inlet to trigger consecutive bangs.
i've updated for anyone that stumbles on this laterprobability sel 4.axs (18.3 KB)
Oof, that looks complicated. But yes, logic/change on the input is the important part to get a new trigger pulse each time the input changes, because the /phi/prob/%bang_in need those trigger pulses to do anything.I have come up with my own version of the patch (not yet tested). It uses logic/latch before the outputs to deliver steady signals (as the old patch did) instead of short pulses.probability sel 4a.axs (8.7 KB)
